Week of 1/2/23-1/6/23
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great break. We have had a wonderful start back in preschool. This week both groups have been reading Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? By Bill Martin Jr, illustrated by Eric Carle. We have loved the predictability of this story as well as the silly sounds we can make along with the book. Reading stories multiple times supports early literacy skills and gives us a sense of confidence. What stories are read on repeat at your home? PK 3 This week in the PK 3 crew we had a great time playing with cars in the block area. Ms. Ally also visited our classroom and we played with pool noodles outside of the pool! We had great fun exploring different ways to move the noodles through the air and how to balance them. PK 4: This week in the PK 4 crew we really enjoyed building with Lego, creating in the art area and playing family. We also had a blast visiting the pump track with balls and monster trucks.
